The HVCC regulations prohibit lenders from accepting appraisal reports completed by an appraiser who was selected, retained or compensated in any manner by mortgage brokers and real estate agents, as well as those which do not fully comply with the HVCC requirements. Furthermore, lenders now must represent and warrant that the appraisal report was obtained in a manner consistent with HVCC. Since a lender’s non-compliance could result in the suspension or termination of the lender’s eligibility to sell loans to Government Sponsored Enterprises, ReValYoo's Valuation Process was specifically implemented to help our clients maintain their compliance with HVCC and the ability to sell their mortgage securities to Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac.
